This position is accountable for the daily operation of the microanalysis laboratory. Analyzes and reports on samples received from cell engineering, manufacturing and generator areas. Samples of all types including powders, cells, materials, will be subject to microscopic, viscometer, size and surface analysis, as well as new methods in development. The position would be responsible for sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of data.
Minimum requirements include two years trade or technical school and experience in a technical laboratory. Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to work independently, and results oriented. Competent in performing simple statistical methods including averaging and deviations. Previous work experience with ceramic or material processing, SEM, and other analytical techniques a definite plus.
