ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ø Perform layout of printed circuits, including high power switching circuits, in consultation with electrical engineers
Ø Implement product improvements and cost reductions.
Ø Evaluate and qualify parts and products for UPS and fuel cell usage.
Ø Interface with vendors to resolve vendor related technical issues.
Ø Provide direction to Technicians.
Ø Produce accurate documentation.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ø Work on special projects as requested by Management
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Ø PCB layout skills, preferably PADS/PowerPCB.
Ø Analog, digital and power electronics circuit layout and design
Ø Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ø Good mechanical (packaging) skills and aptitude including geometric visualization.
Ø Highly detail oriented and able to produce accurate and concise documentation
Ø Ability to work independently or in a multifunctional team environment
Ø Effective communication (verbal and written)
Ø Proficient in MS Office
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ø BS EET
Ø 2+ years relevant experience
