Today, there is a new solution for on-site power: the Acumentrics 5000 (click link for specification sheet) Power System. Our proprietary fuel-flexible, high temperature, tubular, solid oxide fuel cell technology produces electricity at twice the efficiency of traditional generators. This revolutionary power system contains an array of solid-state tubes, for elegant yet robust power. It produces 5kW of power electrochemically, by the migration of oxygen ions through a semi-permeable ceramic structure, instead of through compression/ combustion.

Acumentrics’ 5000 Power System operates directly from natural gas, propane, biofuels, LPG or hydrogen. No external fuel reformer is required. No boost compressor is required. Its clean electrical output leverages our 12 years of experience with power conditioning and inversion. The system can also be combined with solar or wind for hybrid power.

Today, few efficient methods exist for distributed power generation at 5 kW. Solar and wind are not always an option. Cell towers, remote installations, and mobile facilities are forced to use noisy, inefficient diesel generators. We invite you to try our solution.
