Acumentrics is committed to hiring and retaining talented individuals. With that goal in mind, we recognize the importance of providing a benefit-rich environment with programs designed to meet the ever-changing needs of employees. At Acumentrics, we believe that the benefits of working for our organization extend well beyond the “standard” offerings into areas such as work environment, career satisfaction and personal/professional growth.
Health Programs
Medical – Acumentrics offers comprehensive group medical coverage (including prescription and vision) to all employees normally scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. The medical plans are designed to minimize the effect of accidents or illness for employees and their families by promoting illness prevention and a healthy lifestyle. Employees are eligible for medical coverage immediately upon hire. Employees who live within the network area participate in the Point of Service (POS) plan, and employees who live outside the network area participate in the Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan. Both plans are currently administered through Blue Cross/Blue Shield and offer “freedom of choice” to participants. Employees who participate in the medical program will share a portion of the premium cost on a pre-tax basis.
Dental – Acumentrics offers a comprehensive group dental coverage to all employees normally scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. The dental plan covers a full range of preventative, basic and major restorative services as well as orthodontic dental care for dependent children. Employees are eligible for dental coverage immediately upon hire. The dental plan is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan that allows participants to obtain dental services from dental providers both in and out of network. The dental plan is currently administered through Guardian. Employees who participate in the dental program will share a portion of the premium cost on a pre-tax basis.
Fitness Reimbursement – Employees who participate in the medical program are eligible for up to $150 in annual reimbursement per family for participation at approved fitness facilities.

Savings & Investment
We believe that planning ahead will help employees get ahead. Acumentrics offers a retirement plan that offers employees an easy way help prepare for their future.
401(k) Plan – All employees who are 21 years of age and who are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 1,000 hours per year are eligible to participate in Acumentrics 401(k) plan. Employees become eligible to participate immediately upon hire. The 401(k) plan enables employees to contribute up to 100 percent of their pay (subject to IRS maximum limits) each pay period into their individual 401(k) accounts. All 401(k) contributions are deducted directly from employee paychecks, which makes participation extremely easy. Furthermore, since 401(k) deductions are taken on a pre-tax basis, participation in the 401(k) plan lets employees reduce their current income taxes by lowering their taxable income. Acumentrics’ 401(k) plan is currently administered through Principal Financial Group. Principal offers participants a wide array of investment elections. In addition, participants enjoy use of a toll-free telephone number and Internet access, which enables them to complete most transactions on their own.

Income Protection
Peace of Mind – At Acumentrics, we believe that it is important to be prepared for the “road ahead” while we enjoy life on a day-to-day basis. In some instances, being prepared involves saving additional money. In other cases, it may involve income protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Short-Term Disability – This company-paid benefit provides partial weekly salary continuation for up to 13 weeks in the event of a qualifying disability to the employee. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for this plan immediately upon hire.
Long-Term Disability – This company-paid benefit provides partial monthly salary continuation should an employee’s disability extend beyond a 13 week period. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for this plan immediately upon hire.
Life and AD&D Insurance – This company-paid benefit is designed to help provide financial security and protection for employees’ beneficiaries. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for this plan immediately upon hire.
Flexible Spending Accounts – These spending accounts let employees set aside tax-free money to cover eligible health care and dependent care expenses. The Health Care Account allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for healthcare expenses not covered by other benefit programs. The Dependent Care Account allows employees with qualified dependents to use this account to cover anticipated expenses such as day (and/or) evening care for children, disabled spouse or elders. Employees who participate in either of these two spending accounts can increase their actual take-home pay and reduce their taxes since they pay for health care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars. Employees can contribute up to $2,000 in the Health Care Flexible Spending Accounting and/or up to $5,000 in the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. All employees are eligible to participate immediately upon hire.

Time Off Programs
At Acumentrics, we understand the importance of work/life balance, and we offer employees a variety of programs to help them achieve this goal.
Vacation – Acumentrics believes strongly in the benefits associated with a period of rest and relaxation away from the demands of the workplace. Therefore, we provide annual vacations based on length of service with the company. Vacation time is accrued on a monthly basis and employees are able to carry over a portion of their unused vacation time from year to year. All employees are eligible to accrue vacation time.
Personal Time – Acumentrics recognizes that employees may require time away from work to address personal issues. Personal time is based on length of service and is credited as of January 1st of every year. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for personal time.
Sick Time – Acumentrics recognizes that employees may require time away from work to care for themselves or a household family member in the case of illness or injury. Therefore, in addition to the short-term and long-term disability programs, Acumentrics provides for up to 5 sick days per calendar year for employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Holidays – Acumentrics observes 10 holidays per year, and the company designates these holidays based on business needs. Employees who are normally scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week are eligible to receive pay for these designated holidays. Employees who work less than 30 hours per week are eligible to receive pay for up to 6 of the major holidays, provided the holiday falls on their normally scheduled work day.
Birthday Holiday – In celebration of an employee’s birthday, Acumentrics offers the actual birthday off with pay or a floating day off during the actual week in which the birthday falls. Employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible for this birthday holiday.

Work Environment
At Acumentrics, we believe that where and how you work will have a direct impact on the overall quality of your work. Our work environment is fun, energetic and team-oriented. During breaks, many employees enjoy socializing with co-workers or even playing foosball in our company cafeteria.
Casual Attire – At Acumentrics, employees enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where the general style of dress is casual.
Flex Time - Where business conditions permit, employees have the opportunity to shift their work schedules to maximize enjoyment of their families, interests and hobbies. Employees who utilize the flex time option continue to maintain core business hours.
Educational Assistance
As a company whose advancement has come, in part, from a dedication to research, we understand the importance of continued learning. As a result, we offer an Educational Assistance Program to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The program provides annual reimbursements of up to $5,250 for courses taken at accredited institutions. Reimbursement is based on the final grade received. We strongly encourage employees to enroll in outside educational courses that can improve overall job performance and enhance career opportunities.
