Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with the operation and set up of fuel cell test stands and generators.
- Prepares test reports and takes part in data reduction and analysis.
- Assists with data gathering and calibration of test equipment.
- General assembly of mechanical components associated with fuel cell modules and stacks.
- Fabricates sheet metal parts, cuts and installs insulation, and makes up piping assemblies.
- Performs inspections and tests components, sub-assemblies and completed stacks.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma, general mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly procedures.
Experience with the operation of HVAC type equipment.
Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and design drawings.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Five or more years of general electro-mechanical-thermal equipment manufacture and operation.
- Experience with flow meters, pressure gauges and electrical multimeter.
- General Machine shop experience (lathe, milling machine, etc.)
- Experience with high temperature insulation cutting, fabrication and installation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Associate Engineering degree highly desirable.
