Acumentrics Corporation, an industry leader in Rugged-UPS™ (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) for mission-critical military and industrial applications and a developer of solid oxide fuel cells, received certification to the updated ISO 9001:2008. The certification specifies Quality Management System (QMS) requirements that allow an organization to consistently meet customer requirements and increase customer satisfaction through continual improvement. During the certification process, Acumentrics was required to provide proof it had implemented the necessary standards and procedures to improve product and service quality on a regular, quantifiable and verifiable basis, while following a systematic approach to overall quality.
