Sales and Business Development Team

Robert Tomasetti, Vice President - Key Accounts

Bob Tomasetti brings more than 25 years of proven UPS sales and marketing experience both in the US and South America to this role . Bob comes to Acumentrics from Toshiba International Corp., Houston. At Toshiba, he set the standard by consistently setting sales records for the corporation's UPS line. He also established for Toshiba one of the leading distributors in South America (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in 1998, which achieved outstanding success breaking sales targets in that area of the world in the process.

Prior to Toshiba, Bob held senior sales management positions with a number of leading UPS vendors including RTE DELTEC (acquired by Fiskars) and Topaz, Inc. (purchased by Square D Company, Inc. in 1992) where Tomasetti was the regional sales director.

Steven Graves, Director of Sales

Steven Graves has over twenty years of sales and management experience in the technology and power sectors. He joined the company in August of 2007 as Director of Sales. Steven came to Acumentrics from Azima, Inc., a remote monitoring technology start-up with a major focus in the power industry, where he was Director of Sales.

Prior to Azima, Steven spent a number of years in sales in the systems integration and software industries with Novell and Cambridge Technology Partners. He has a Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering from UMass-Lowell and an MBA from Georgetown University.

Vikram Varma, Director of Business and Alliance Development

Vikram Varma has over 10 years of experience with new technologies. He joined Acumentrics in March 2007 as Director of Business and Alliance Development. Vikram came to Acumentrics from Fuel Cell Technologies Ltd., a Canadian solid oxide fuel cell company, where he served as the Director of Corporate Development for three years.

Prior to Fuel Cell Technologies, Vikram spent several years in the telecom industry with technology startups that have participated in bringing emerging technologies such as Voice over IP to the mainstream market. Vikram has an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario,  a PhD in Chemistry from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, and is a certified member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario.

Gary Allen, Director of Sales, Fuel Cell Systems

Gary Allen has over 20 years experience in marketing and selling new technology products, 10 of which have been focused on solid oxide fuel cell systems. Gary came to Acumentrics from Fuel Cell Technologies Ltd., a Canadian solid oxide fuel cell company, where he served as the Director of Sales. Gary still lives in Canada and keeps his office in the Acumentrics Canada Ltd. subsidiary.

Previous to Fuel Cell Technologies, Gary had been involved in introducing new technology products to the passenger and freight railway markets, where he developed a broad base of customers worldwide.
