James Wilson, Chairman
James Wilson has been a Managing Director of Boston Ventures since its formation in 1983. Prior to that, he was a Vice President of First Venture Capital Corporation, a subsidiary of Bank of Boston Corporation, and initiated, structured and monitored First Ventures' investments. Mr. Wilson received his MA degree from Cambridge University, England in 1974.
John Cerulli, Acumentrics, Inc. CEO
John Cerulli has over 25 years’ experience in financial and operational management in both public and private companies. John currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Acumentrics Holding Corporation where his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of both Acumentrics, Inc and Atrex Energy, Inc. Prior to that, John served as Chief Financial Officer of Acumentrics Holding Corporation since 2004 and five years for Source Squared Enterprises, the leading shareholder of Acumentrics as well as several other companies. John received his BS in Accounting from Bentley University in 1993 and has served on the Board of Directors for several not-for-profit charitable organizations.
Jamey Rosenfield
James Rosenfield is Senior Vice President, IHS Markit. He created and co-chairs CERAWeek by IHS Markit, the world’s preeminent global energy gathering, whose evolution he has overseen from its inception in 1983. He is cofounder with Dan Yergin of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), and led its growth over three decades.
At IHS Markit he spearheads numerous high-impact strategic projects on energy and environment, including “The Future of the Energy Innovation Ecosystem” (developed for the Bill Gates’ Breakthrough energy coalition”); “Reinventing the Wheel: the Future of Mobility”, “Fueling North America’s Energy Future: The Unconventional Gas Revolution and the Carbon Agenda,” ”The Unconventional Oil and Gas revolution and the US Economy,” and “A More Competitive Energiewende: Securing Germany’s Global Competitiveness in a New Energy World” He is active in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Geneva, Switzerland, and helped found WEF’s energy community. He has spoken at the Annual meeting in Davos, the UN, and CERAWeek.
Mr Rosenfield focuses on technology innovation and entrepreneurship. He is a Managing Director of SourceSquared, an investment holding company, and serves as nonexecutive director of the privately held Aircuity and Acumentrics. He cofounded AzimaDLI, an industrial equipment condition monitoring business acquired by Symphony AI; as well as Xcellerex, a biotech manufacturing firm acquired by GE.
He was Senior Fellow at the Center for Business and Government at Harvard (2006-7). He leads the IHS Markit team in the Pan Mass Challenge for cancer research. He received his undergraduate education at Harvard College and holds an MBA from Boston University
John Humphrey
John Humphrey is the Chairman and Principal of Humphrey Enterprises, LLC, the parent company to Humphrey Companies of which he is President. The Humphrey Companies include Hadley, Corvac Composites, and Eleison Composites which are suppliers to the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle markets. Prior to forming Humphrey Enterprises in 2002, he was Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of The Forum Corporation which helped clients to develop learning strategies and solutions to deploy their strategies. Mr. Humphrey graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and received his MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
Richard Pierro
Rick Pierro is Co-founder and owner of Superior Controls, a leading automation engineering company that serves clients that desire world-class manufacturing. He has 23 years of control systems experience. In addition to serving on the Board of Acumentrics, Mr. Pierro serves on the Board of E-Trolz, a leading provider of technology for electrophysiological medical devices. He received a BA in Chemistry from Boston University in 1981, and an MS in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1983.
Mark Bertolami
Mark Bertolami is a global senior operating executive with over 25 years of experience in the portable power industry with Duracell's battery business. Most recently, Bertolami served as president of Procter & Gamble's Duracell Global Business Unit, a position in which he held full responsibility for the $2.5 billion global Duracell franchise. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of China Battery Holdings a majority-owned joint venture. He currently serves on advisory boards for Lilliputian Systems, OwnerIQ, and OCOOS. Bertolami holds a B.S. from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
Doug Foy
Douglas I. Foy is a founder and CEO of Serrafix Corporation, a strategic consulting firm and business incubator focused on energy, the environment, transportation, and climate change. Prior to launching Serrafix in 2006, Mr. Foy served as the Secretary of Commonwealth Development in the administration of Massachusetts Governor MittRomney. In leading this “super-Secretariat”, Mr. Foy oversaw the agencies of Transportation, Housing, Environment, and Energy, with combined annual capital budgets of $5 billion, operating budgets of $500 million, and a total workforce of more than 11,000.
Before his service in the Romney administration, Mr. Foy served for 25 years as the President and CEO of the Conservation Law Foundation, New England’s premier environmental advocacy organization. Mr. Foy serves on numerous corporate and non-profit boards. Among the awards recognizing his public interest work, Mr. Foy has received the President’s Environmental and Conservation Challenge Award (the nation’s highest conservation award), then Woodrow Wilson Award, and the Order of the British Empire(OBE).
Mr. Foy is a graduate of Princeton University, Cambridge University (Churchill Scholar), and Harvard Law School.
